On Tuesday, August 25th, 2020, THO hosted a webinar on “Strengthening the Franchise System Post Covid”.  Featuring Professor Mustafa Aydin, President of the Turkish Franchise Association.

THO was honored to welcome Professor Mustafa Aydin for an important discussion on strategies to strengthen the franchise system and bolster the Turkish economy.

Within the globalized economy, businesses need a multitude of investments from diverse sources to have long term success. This phenomena is why we see fewer neighborhood markets specializing in particular goods and more shopping malls where consumers have access to multiple brands and products at a single location.

This conversation with Professor Aydin outlines the current franchising system within Turkey and the actions taken by the Turkish franchising association to swiftly unite sectorial investors to respond to the Covid-19 crisis. Professor Aydin goes on to emphasize the necessity of digital platforms in allowing brands to overcome this crisis. Professor Aydin also offers a unique perspective on branding and strategies for improving the strength of Turkish brands in both the domestic and international markets.
