THO LEADERSHIP AT THE ANNUAL WHITE HOUSE İFTAR DINNER

The Annual İftar Dinner at the White House brought together Muslim community leaders and diplomats.

At the iftar, Turkish American community was represented by Turkey’s Ambassador to U.S. Serdar Kılıç, Turkish Heritage Organization (THO) Vice President and National Democratic Ethnic Coordinating Council (NDECC) Communications Committee Chair Ali Çınar and THO Board of Trustee and Democratic Party Delegate Murat Güzel.   

İftar began with Ezan prayer and continued with President Obama’s remarks. The only two Muslim members of the U.S. Congress, Keith Ellison and Andrea Carson were also among the distinguished guests of the Annual İftar at the White House.
