Turkey Before and After July 15
Please join us on November 16th for a special opportunity to hear from Gen. (Ret.) M. Ilker Basbug, who served as the 26th Chief of General Staff of Turkey from 2008 to 2010. Based on his new book, Gen. Basbug will discuss how the July 15th failed coup differed from previous successful coups d’état in Turkey. He will present the audience with insights from his military experience and discuss the types of unique measures needed to prevent a similar coup attempt in the future.
