U.S.-Turkey Relations: A Maritime Perspective

On Wednesday, November 6, 2019 The Turkish Heritage Organization hosted a private roundtable discussion on "U.S.-Turkey Relations: a Maritime Perspective". The discussion featured retired Turkish Vice Admiral Kadir Sagdic and was moderated by U.S. Senior Navy Fellow from the Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security at the Atlantic Council, Erich Frandrup. This private event was an opportunity for audience members to engage in a candid conversation addressing the maritime developments of the U.S.-Turkey relationship and discuss outside elements that have also been greatly impacting the NATO allies. Admiral Sagdic spoke at SUNY Maritime College event who was organized by THO Advisory Board Member Mark Meirowitz.


Admiral Sagdic spoke about recent developments between U.S. and Turkey at East West Institute. In addition, U.S. Air Force General (Ret)  Michael Moseley made an opening remarks at the beginning of the roundtable discussion. THO President thanked to East West Institute for hosting the Admiral Kadir Sagdic.
