  • Nato Baltic Air policing fighters intercept Russian aircraft over the Baltic sea

Allied radars tracked three unknown aircraft leaving Kaliningrad, NATO's Combined Air Operations Centre at Uedem in Germany launched the allied fighter aircraft to intercept and identify them. 

  • Afghan Troops to be trained in Turkey under first NATO program abroad

Afghani troops are to receive military training from NATO. This training program is only the first of a whole new series of  training programs abroad of Afghani soldiers. Turkey offering itself to host these troops shows a willingness for improving ties with its NATO allies.

  • Coronavirus response: NATO and Hungary deliver ventilators to Ukraine

The NATO Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre and Hungary have aided in Ukraine’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic through coordination with NATO’s Pandemic Response Stockpile. Ukrainian Oblasts, including Donets'ka, Zaporiz'ka, MykolayIvs'ka, Kharkivs'ka, Khersons'ka, Cherkas'ka and Chernivets'ka will benefit from these ventilators in their fight against COVID-19.
