A recent series that Mr. Taylor led on the Trump administration’s relationship with the U.S. intelligence community amid allegations of Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election was awarded an Honorable Mention for the Gerald R. Ford Journalism Prize for Distinguished Reporting on the Presidency in 2017. A previous series by Mr. Taylor on political, economic, and security developments in Mexico won a 2012 Virginia Press Association award.
